As One Community Choir

Terms and Conditions

As One Community Choir Values

  • Everyone has a voice and they should be heard.

  • We arrive at rehearsals on time and ready to give our best effort.

  • We take the time to connect with those that we sing and make music with.

  • We take risks with our singing and performing so that we continually grow.

We aspire to provide a welcoming space for individuals of diverse backgrounds, abilities and identities to feel encouraged to participate and feel a strong sense of belonging and respect within the community.

Rehearsals will operate in accordance with the latest UK Government & Public Health England guidelines regarding any high risk health conditions.

We also ask that everyone respects their fellow choir members and should you feel particularly unwell or contract a serious infection, you do not attend rehearsal until you recover.

Taster Session

Any potential new members are welcome to try a free ‘taster session’ at the beginning of the term without obligation.  Should the new member then join, the ‘taster session’ would be paid for within the termly fee.

Choir Membership Fees

  • As One Community Choir operates an upfront payment system per term.

  • The fee per term is £78.00 for a minimum of ten weeks and is required to be paid irrespective of attendance or if you decide to leave part way through the term.
There is no charge for under 18's.

  • In cases where our choir leader is ill or cannot attend a rehearsal due to unforeseen circumstances, our priority is always to enable the session to go ahead and so we will endeavour to find suitable cover.  As our termly fees cover at least ten weeks, if we fall below this number appropriate financial reimbursement will be offered.

  • If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, you will have an opportunity to watch the live stream via our Members only FaceBook page, or catch up with it up to 30 days after its posting. However, we do not accept responsibility for unavoidable technical difficulties that may prevent us from live streaming, but all rehearsals will be recorded and made available.

  • There will be an annual increment to the fees in line with increasing costs.

  • The method of payment is by bank transfer.  The termly fee must be paid a week before the beginning of each term so that a record of this is available at the first rehearsal.

  • Standing orders can be paid on 1 September, 1 January and 1 April of each year.

  • Bank details as follows: Lloyds  Bank

  • Should an individual have any concerns about paying the termly fee, we would ask that they contact the Leadership Team via email outlining their situation or circumstances and we will do our best to sort out a solution.

Once paid, membership fees are non-refundable.
